What I Did

• Researched markets, macro developments, geopolitical events, commodities, and public companies for a professional financial newsletter.
• Built Python- and AI-assisted tooling used in the daily research-and-writing workflow.
• Worked alongside other college-age interns under the newsletter's Founder & Chief Economist, previously an economist at Cboe Global Markets.

Result

At least one investment analysis Gabriel wrote was published through Han Insights, via a mentor's LinkedIn post.

Takeaway

Explaining a market concept to a newsletter reader in ninety seconds is a narrower skill than "explain the market" in the abstract.

What I Did

• Founded the EIAA Junior Board — a youth board operating underneath the association's existing adult board, not a replacement for it — and now serves as its president.
• Set up how the board meets and what kinds of events it runs.
• Led sponsorship outreach and coordination for its first two fundraising events, a golf outing and a pickleball social.

Result

Together, those two events helped raise more than $6,000 in sponsorship and community support.

Takeaway

Starting something new inside an organization that already has its own way of doing things is different from starting one from scratch — it has to fit alongside what's already there.
